Printing making is transferring an image from a matrix onto another surface. In this class we will explore that transfer process in a very loose and experimental way, using
\nsimple tools and techniques that yield surprising results. Think monotypes, collagraphs, gelatin prints, making and using stencils, making and using stamps, found objects, positive and negative shapes.<\/p>\n
Participants will build leave with an arsenal of shapes and tools to cross pollinate the various techniques. The stamp and stencil shapes become part of your visual vocabulary. We will create a stack o\u2019 prints on a variety of papers. Come and be part of
\nthis creative experimentation.<\/p>\n
All levels welcome, all materials provided with a $30 fee to instructor, bring a sack lunch for Saturday, take home your prints on Sunday.<\/p>\n
